RESCUE RUN 2023: STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING!

The movie SOUND OF FREEDOM offered a spotlight upon the serious modern-day tragedy of human trafficking. You can make a difference by supporting causes like this which provide funds to organizations that are fighting the good fight against this activity. We are proud to organize this fundraising event in support of the efforts to rescue people from these deplorable conditions. Last year, we had a great turnout and hope to duplicate results this year. Please, join us and spread the word. Destiny Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Fort Wayne, Indiana with a mission to rescue children from exploitation and trafficking and help them remain free and successful. The focus of their work is two-fold: (1) Rescuing children from dangerous situations (2) Helping victims successfully reintegrate back into their lives. Momentum Church and the sponsors of this event will cover costs so that 100% of the proceeds from your registration to this event will go to support efforts to fulfill this mission. This 5K event will be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds and will professionally timed by Tempo Run Timing and Events utilizing a chipped timing system. Water and snack stations will be provided. We welcome serious runners and more casual runners alike to participate in this great fundraising event organized by Momentum Church in support of Destiny Rescue and the effort to rescue and rehabilitate child victims. There will be grand prizes awarded for the top three male and female overall finishers as well as 1st, 2nd, 3rd place ribbons awarded in each age group as follows: Under 8, 9-12, 12-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71+.
